By remaining unconditionally mindful of the prestige and the chronicled legacy of the Hilton Cyprus Hotel, its new owners, Invel and Pangaea, have renamed it to The Landmark Nicosia. The revamped name and logo will be officially put into effect on June 1st, 2019.

In light of the new investors, Pangaea and Invel, recently acquiring the majority stake in the company owning the emblematic hotel, a trademark modification was decided and scheduled to reflect the recent management changes.

The management and staff remain committed to providing the superior levels of service that have laid the solid foundations for the international prominence of both the Capital and the hotel, and they will continue proudly contributing to the hotel’s promising future.

Putting an end to the repeated ownership changes that would impact future planning, it is now time for Nicosia’s most significant hotel to regain the prospects, glory and prestige it deserves: Invel and Pangaea commit to reviving the hotel by means of a long-term investment programme that will bring out its vastly unexplored potential. The new name, The Landmark Nicosia, is a natural evolution on this ambitious path, as the hotel has been treasuring the Capital’s collective memory since 1967”, said Christoforos Papachristoforou, Invel Founder and Chief Executive Officer, and Executive Vice President and Chairman of Pangaea’s Investment Committee with reference to the milestone event.

For decades, this emblematic hotel has been a reference point for the city’s international image and the heart of the island’s business, political and diplomatic affairs. Leaving an ever stronger mark on the city’s social life, gastronomy and entertainment, this landmark hotel is the core of the Capital’s hospitality.

Bearing a brand new name, under new and dynamic ownership and with an aspiring vision for the future, the remarkable five-star hotel will bolster the image of the Capital and the greater area in the most memorable way.

The hotel’s new name and logo aren’t merely an artistic illustration, but a showcase for the values it represents.
